We offer unique and reasonably priced
trips for the enjoyment of our members age 50 and over. Take at look at the most recent updated
offerings and remember to check back monthly for new additions.
We have two travel service office
locations for your convenience. Feel
free to contact us for further information on these trips.
Membership in the Council on Aging,
Inc. is required to use the CoA Travel Service. (Membership is only $10 per year for an individual or $15 per
year for a couple).
AUGUST:
Thurs. August 27 Jackson to see the World Famous Cascades.
We will see the Cascades at night after a buffet
dinner, and visits to Gilbert’s Chocolate Factory and the
All Star Dairy. We will have a step on
guide for an area tour. Pick up in Marine City and Port
Huron. $89 per person.
Mon. August 31 Detroit
Tigers vs. Tampa Bay Rays. Lower Outfield Box Seats. Day game. Pick up in
Port Huron. $65 per person.
SEPTEMBER:
Thurs. September 17 Detroit’s Cruise on the River
aboard the Diamond Jack, and Sinbad’s for lunch. Eastern Market. What
a great fall day this will be. Pick up in Port Huron and Marine City. $79 per
person.
23-25 September The Agawa Canyon Train Tour. A
one-day rail adventure into the heart of the Canadian wilderness. Two nights lodging at the Kewadin Casino
Hotel, Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. 2 breakfasts, 1 lunch aboard the train.
$50 cash on players card. $20 tokens, $10 food coupon. $349 per person, DBL.
Sat. September 26 Pinnacle Race Course. Trip
includes: Admission to Race Course, a nice lunch and $10 wagering slip.
(Even an insider’s course is wagering.) $35 per person. Pick up in Port Huron
and Marine City.
Tues. September 29 Wind Turbines and the Octagon Barn.
A tour of Michigan’s thumb. The Harvest Wind Farm consists of 46 windmills,
which will service about 20,000 homes. The Octagon Barn gives a glimpse into
the livelihood of a Michigan Thumb Farmer in the early 1900’s, and an all you
can eat buffet luncheon. Pick up in Port Huron. $50 per person.
OCTOBER:
October 7-9 Thunder Bay. Your fall foliage
spectacular includes: 3 nights lodging in a suite room in
Hillman, MI at the resort. 2 breakfasts, 1 pasta dinner, 1
five course dinner, wine tasting, horse
drawn carriage ride, a day in Alpena elk viewing and much
more. $525 per person, double
occupancy.
Tues. October 13 Mystery Trip. Includes
All-American buffet, historical attraction, orchard stop on the way
home. Pick up in Marine City and Port Huron. Where are we
going? While that is a mystery, we know you’ll be pleased with the outcome. $79 per person.
Tues. October 13 Smothers Brothers at Soaring
Eagle. $20 casino rebate, $5 food coupon. $45 per person.
October 13-15 Backroads of Ohio. 2 nights in
Zanesville, 2 breakfasts, 2 dinners. Monticello Canal Boat Ride and much more.
$489 per person, double occupancy.
Sun. October 18 Ethel
Merman’s Broadway at the historical Gem Theatre. Lunch at Traffic Jam. Come
and see this smash off-Broadway hit. $94 per person.
NOVEMBER:
November 28-30 Festival of Lights. Top reserved
seating for Loretta Lynn, Gatlin Brothers, Ronnie Prophet. 2 breakfasts, 1 dinner at the Skylon Tower,
2 nights at the deluxe Niagara Falls Hilton.
Shopping and a Christmas Lights Tour. $395 per person,
double occupancy. This is in Canada.

DECEMBER:
Wed. December 9 Very Merry Christmas – Canterbury. The deluxe motor coach stops at Morley’s
Chocolate Factory, Canterbury Village shopping, Meadow Brook Theater’s “A
Christmas Carol”, Alfoccino’s Restaurant for supper, and drive-through
Christmas lights of Rochester, includes a light breakfast snack and box

December 10-14 a Capitol Christmas in Washington D.C.
featuring: performance at the Kennedy Center and A Christmas Carol at
