Postal Alert
Other programs offered through the Council on Aging, find the Council on Aging working with other agencies and businesses to provide services for those 60 and over in our community. "Postal Alert" is done in conjunction with the U.S. Post Office and their carriers. If a mail carrier notices an accumulation of mail in a senior's mailbox, the Post Office will contact the CoA. The CoA then will try to reach the senior and/or their emergency contacts to find out if there is something wrong.
