OCTOBER
Field of Honor Flag Sales Start October 1 - November 3. $5 flag in remembrance of a loved one who has served our nation. All proceeds will directly contribute to the Washington Life Center. For more information or questions, call 810-765-3523 ext. 305.
Harvest Moon Hayride & Bonfire at Upland Hills Farm on October 3 at 6:00 p.m. Space is limited so you must call ahead to reserve your spot at 810-765-3523 ext. 305. Cost is $25 per person. The bus will leave the center at 6:00 p.m. and return around 10:00 p.m.
Lakeshore Legal Aid on October 6 at 10:30 a.m. You will NEED to make an appointment by calling 810-765-3523. Space is limited.
Ask a ... Marine City Fire Fighter on October 6 at 11:30 a.m. October is recognized as National Fire Prevention month.
Cryptids Decrypted with Andrew Kercher on October 14 at 12:30 p.m. Everyone knows famous Cryptids like Bigfoot or the Loch Ness Monster, but there are many more mysterious creatures around the world. Cost is $15 per person. You must sign up ahead to reserve your spot at 810-765-3523 ext. 305.
Paint, Sip & Chill with Beth Hopp on October 15 at 10:30 a.m. The cost is $45 per person, and it's essential to call ahead to secure your spot at 810-765-3523 ext. 305 for “Pumpkin Fest" painting.
Lunch and Learn with Jeff from 5/3 Bank in Marine City on October 16 at 11:30 a.m. Lunch reservations are required by calling 810-765-4724 24 hours prior to event. If you're just here for the scoop, pop into the comfortable cafeteria at 11:30 a.m. and snag a seat.

Dia De Lose Muertos on October 26 - November 2. Dia de Los Muertos is a joyful Mexican holiday honoring departed loved ones which is celebrated October 31 to November 2. It emphasizes that those remembered are never truly gone. A table will be set up for photos and items of the deceased. To participate, please submit a photo by October 22 to the Programmer. NOVEMBER
Field of Honor Sales November 2 - November 6. Support our initiative to adorn our field of honor by purchasing a flag in remembrance of a loved one who has served our nation. Each flag will be personalized with your loved one's name and prominently displayed in front of our establishment from November 11-18, commemorating Veterans Day. All proceeds will directly contribute to the Washington Life Center. Each flag is $5.
Secret Elf Program open November 2 - November 30. It's BACK. We are seeking individuals or businesses who would like to adopt a senior for Christmas. For more information, or if you or someone you know could use a little Christmas cheer this year, please reach out to Merri at 810-765-3523 ext. 305. Please note that recipients must reside within the Downriver area.

Pie Taste Testing with the Orchards in Armada on November 5 at 11:30a.m. Taste a delicious variety of pies from Achatz Pie Co. and help us pick your favorite. Friendsgiving Celebration on November 20 at 11:00 a.m. All members, new and established, are welcome to enjoy games, storytelling and surprises as we celebrate friendship and community together.
