Bluewater Senior Prom 2026 on Thursday, May 7 at 4:00 p.m. Join us for Dinner at the Port Huron Senior Center at 4:00 p.m. and Dancing at the Blue Water YMCA starting at 6:00 p.m. We will be crowning our new King & Queen, enjoying some mocktails and hors d'oeuvres and dancing the night away. “Ask a..." program on May 19 at 10:15 am. Each month we hope to have a licensed professional spend some time with you at our center answering your questions and sharing their knowledge. Golden Giggles on May 19 at 1:00 p.m. The second new program is for anyone who likes to laugh and have a good time. Run like an improv group we will spend our time trying to make each other laugh. St. Clair County Library System Tech Help on Tuesday, May 26 at 3:00 p.m. SCCLS will be here to assist you with any smart phone or tablet issues or questions you might have. Please call 810-765-3523 ext. 305 to reserve your spot as space is limited. Program is free to all seniors.
JUNE
WLC's 5th Annual Nature Photography Contest starting June 1 through June 5. Send us your best snap shots of nature (clouds, flowers, butterflies, trees, water, etc.). Photos MUST be original to owners, in JPEG format and NOT digitally altered, as nature is at its best raw and unfiltered. Limit of 3 photos per person. 75% of the photo must feature nature. Photos will ONLY be submitted by emailing them. Submit photos to the Programmers email at: mpeterson@thecouncilonaging.org. Photos will be displayed at the WLC starting on June 8 - 26 where our members will vote on their favorite. The winning photo will be permanently displayed here at the WLC.

Michigan Secretary of State Mobile Unit will be here on June 5 from 10:15 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. to help you with your transactions including but not limited to 1st time Michigan |.D’s renewing your Driver's License, transferring a title, or applying for/renewing disability placards. Dulcimer's Celebrating USA"s 250th Sing Along on Tuesday, June 16 at 10:00 am. While the concert is free to attend, donations are always greatly appreciated. There will be a prize for the most patriotically dressed audience member.
