Mini Trips

  • April 13 Port Huron Museum & Lunch. Bus leaves at 10:00 a.m.
  • April 27 Richmond Lunch & Shopping. Bus leaves at 10:00 a.m.

Craft Classes: Seasonal Decorative Lantern on April 8 at 1:00 p.m. $2 per set of inserts for April/Spring. Includes: 3 plastic inserts and ribbon. Every month you will have the opportunity to change the inserts and ribbon for the current season/holiday. $2 material cost each month. Same basic craft with a different look all year round. Reservations are due by April 3 and the material cost is due the day of class. NOTE: $10 per lantern, battery tea light candle, 3 plastic inserts and ribbon.

Easter Celebration on Thursday, April 2.

  • 12:00 noon Easter Luncheon. You MUST make reservations by March 30.
  • 12:45 p.m. Euchre/Uno

Mobile Secretary of State on Thursday, April 16 at the Yale Senior Center from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Schedule appointment or walk in. Contact us for more information at 810-387-3720.

Hawaiian Luau Party - Mahalo for All That You Do! on Friday, April 24 at 11:00 am. Party Tickets are $4 in advance and the deadline is April 17. VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION at 11:30 a.m. Lunch at 12:00 noon - Blue Hawaiian Luau ($3 suggested donation for lunch). Events include: Hawaiian Experience, Tiki Bar, Hula Lessons and Tiki Awards.   • May 18 at 9:00 a.m. Croswell Stockyards for flower/plan shopping, swinging bridge and lunch.

Crafty Creations workshops at 1:00 p.m.

  • Seasonal Decorative Lantern on May 6. $2 per set of inserts for May. Includes 3 plastic inserts and ribbon. Reservations are due by May 4.
  • Sea Glass Dragonfly Painting/Sun-catcher on May 13. Using crushed glass, sea glass, seashells, and embellishments create a resin art painting or sun catcher. $10 per project for material costs. Reservations are due by May 6.
  • Decorative Planters on May 30. Make your porch bright and beautiful with these easy to make decorative planters. $5 for a set of 2. Plants and dirt not available. Reservations are due by May 13.

NEW Changes to Yale Senior Center Daily Activity Calendar:

  • Mondays at 1:00 p.m. Stab & Gab Felting & Needlework Group. Welcome to our needle working circle. Fun chatty group that is filled with a variety of talents. Needle felting, punch needle, embroidery, cross stitch, sewing and so much more.
  • Tuesday's at 10:00 am. Tune Up Tuesday. Enjoy a relaxing chair exercise class with special hand therapy. Great program to increase mobility and strength.
  • Wednesday's at 12:30 p.m. Tabletop Games. Enjoy a fun-loving day with a wide variety of board and card games. Don't know how to play - no worries - we can teach you how.

3rd Annual Mom's Purse Event - Gift Card BINGO on Saturday, May 9. Doors open at 12:00 noon. Event starts at 1:00 p.m. at the Yale Senior Center. Reservations are required due to limited space. $5 per person. Call for additional information at 810-387-3720. This is a unique event. In one afternoon there will be three events to entertain you and your friends. There is something for everyone aged 18 years and older. Bingo will begin at 1:00 p.m. The winners will receive gift cards. Final Jackpot Prize is $100 in cash. By the end of the day, there will be 10 "Gift Card Bingo’ winners. 14 "Pound in a Purse" raffle winners, and only ONE ‘Reverse Raffle’ winner and several consolation prizes.

Mystery Pound in a Purse Raffle Tickets on Sale NOW. Minimum of Ten "Pound in a Purse" raffle winners, drawing is May 9th. Each Designer Purse has a pound of something inside. It's a mystery but the secret will be revealed at the Mom's Purse Event when the winning ticket is drawn. Tickets are $5 for six tickets or $1. Contact 810-387-3720 to purchase your tickets. You do not need to be present to win!

Reverse Raffle. A maximum of 52 tickets SOLD at $5 each. Prize is a 50/50 split. Reverse Raffle: all tickets drawn are losers’ the last remaining ticket WINS! Come May 9th to feel the suspense of who has the final winning ticket. Call 387-3720 to purchase your tickets. Do not need to be present to win.
